The Context — The History
No one in heaven or earth can open the scroll of destiny until the Lion-Lamb appears. Judah's lion and David's root conquers through slaughtered worthiness, not mere military might.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
John weeps because no one is worthy to open the scroll. An elder points to the Lion of Judah, Root of David, who has conquered and can open the scroll and seals.
