Men At Work

Hello my New Covenant Church Family. We are almost half-way through the year. We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on the Men’s Ministry, and as the weather begins to change, son do the men’s responsibilities. We sing every 4th Sunday of the month, and we will be singing every Sunday in August. Theres work that needs to be done around the church, and we need to listen to one another because God is telling us in His word to take care of His house, so you won’t have holes in your pocket. So, men, if it seems like you are struggling and can’t make ends meet spend some time working on Gods house.
The month of June was Men’s Health month. One new project for the men is to take better care of our health. There are too many of us dying young or walking around with ailments that can be preventable If we just pay attention and do the right thing. See your medical provider and don’t put off ailments that are tiring us out. Simple things like exercising an eating healthy are some suggestions.
I am thankful for all the men and their support. Brothers, encourage one another and know that with God we are more than a conqueror.

Renewing the Mind, Strengthening the Body, and Growing in Christ

Men of the New Covenant,
Think about the last time a brother truly checked in on you. Usually, we ask the standard questions: How’s your prayer life? Have you been reading the Word? Are you serving? While those are essential, let me ask you a question that rarely gets a framework in our conversations: How is your mind doing? Are you at peace, under pressure or somewhere in between? Too often in church, when a brother is spiraling, trapped in negative thought patterns, or fighting a silent battle in his head, our default response is, “Just go pray about it.” Prayer is absolutely vital—but prayer without a change in thinking becomes a monologue. God doesn’t just care about your spiritual disciplines; He cares deeply about your mental and physical health. Both matter to Him. This month, we are hitting the reset button. We are stepping into a focused, disciplined season to undergo complete internal renovation.

The Challenge
This month is a call to action. We are asking for focus, vulnerability, and discipline. Let’s stop
pretending, stop settling for behavior modification, and let God do the deep, transformative work
from the inside out.
