The Context — The History
Paul and Barnabas preached in Pisidian Antioch on their first missionary journey around AD 46–48. They addressed both Jews and Gentile God-fearers in the synagogue.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
Paul recounted Israel's history from Egypt to David, then proclaimed Jesus' death and resurrection. He declared forgiveness of sins through Jesus — a message unavailable through the law of Moses alone.
