The Context — The History
Peter and John heal a lame man at the temple gate, provoking Sanhedrin arrest. Before Jewish leaders, Peter proclaims Jesus' exclusive saving authority in a pluralistic religious capital.
The Narrative — The Lead-Up
After the healing, Peter preaches in Solomon's Colonnade that the crucified Jesus is the stone the builders rejected. Before the council, he boldly declares salvation's exclusivity in Jesus' name.
