After years of famine, Joseph ruled Egypt as Pharaoh's governor. His brothers arrived seeking grain, not recognizing the brother they had sold. In a culture of family honor and guilt, Joseph's revelation reframed their evil act within God's larger purpose to preserve life.

Joseph tested his brothers through hidden money, a silver cup, and the demand for Benjamin. Judah's plea showed changed hearts. Joseph could no longer restrain himself, wept openly, and disclosed his identity, urging them not to blame themselves because God had sent him ahead.
